Post and Bollard Bases
General Product Description
We carry two types of bases for trail posts and bollards: low-profile removable bases and heavy duty bases. Both are made from sturdy steel and are powder-coated to ensure a long life span.
Low-profile Removable Base
The removable low-profile bases allow you to remove a post or bollard quickly to allow safety vehicles thru or foot traffic for events.
A steel base plate is mounted into the concrete and then top plate afixes to the post. The too can be joined with a simple lock. These removable steel bases can be used with any 4x4 or 6x6 post, and can be finished in any color. The cost per removable base is $139.00. Heavy Duty Bases
These heavy duty bases are great to use if you need to be able to remove a bollard, trail marker, sign or message Board quickly. They are made from thick 3/16” steel and powder coated satin black. We stock these to fit both 4x4 and 6x6 posts.
The brackets are tall enough to keep the post steady but low enough at 6” tall for a vehicle to drive over. The posts are bolted in to the bases using 2 - 3/8” x 8” thru bolts ( not included ), which can be removed quickly for vehicle traffic when needed.
